ETM 510 - Cultures Across the Local Community and Beyond

Prerequisites ETM 500 or instructor permission
This course is designed to improve the cultural proficiency of educators through a process of experiential learning. Educators will travel to local and regional locations to examine primary artifacts from the past to the present to gain foundational knowledge about diversity within their local community. This course will help educators become more culturally responsive to their communities and their students in order to improve student motivation and engagement.
