FYS 1119 - Rituals to Hamilton: EnsembleCredits: 4 Sure, there may be a playwright, but ensembles have been the unsung heroes in the collaboration process dating back to the ancient Greeks. Drawing from ensemble practices such as playback theatre, theatre for social justice, devised theatre (and more), students will build their own theatre pieces in small and large ensembles. This seminar is an investigation of non-traditional theatre styles and their creative processes. This is the same course as THE 1117; students can not receive credit for both. Offered: Fall only, on demand McDaniel Plan: First-Year Seminar, Creative Expression
