PHY 2201 - Mathematical PhysicsCredits: 4 This fundamental course for physic majors and minors serves to introduce many of the mathematical tools and ideas needed to solve problems describing physical systems. Topics include integration and differentiation, vector calculus, series, complex analysis, matrices, differential equations, and Fourier analysis. The one-hour per week laboratory component of the course is aimed at familiarizing students with Mathematica. Prerequisite(s) MAT-1118 Co-requisite PHY-2001
