PSI 3313 - Politics of Global FeminismsCredits: 4 Students in this course will examine the development and content of a worldwide feminist movement. Its diversity, complexity, and contested nature is what characterizes the movement as consisting of multiple feminisms rather than a single unifying ideology and practice. We will examine in depth the concerns and challenges facing women in the western world in contrast to the concerns of women in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean in the age of globalization.
