FYS 1224 - Androids, Martians, AstronautsCredits: 4 Science fiction has never shied away from some of the biggest questions around. Religion, politics, love, race, gender–what it even means to be human–are all ambitious conversations openly cultivated by sci-fi texts. This course will examine books, movies, and graphic novels from diverse authors that tackle these questions head-on. In turn, students will respond creatively via a mix of multimedia projects and writing assignments that also explore what it means to be truly human.
