ECO 2203 - Labor Economics

Credits: 4
This course provides an overview of the economics of labor markets with a primary focus on the U.S. economy. Topics include the determination of wages, unemployment, human capital, discrimination, and income inequality. Particular attention is paid to the substantial variation in labor market outcomes between different demographic groups. Empirical evidence is examined to determine whether real world data support or contradict the theoretical models covered.
