Elementary Certification
Students interested in teaching at the elementary level (grades 1-6) in Maryland public schools may major in any academic program at McDaniel College and complete a core set of elementary education requirements. Secondary Certification
Students may earn Maryland certification in Social Studies at the secondary level (7-12) by completing a McDaniel College degree requirements and the following: Political Science and International Studies major
