Elementary STEM Instructional Leadership (ESIL) Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

Overview

Contact: Sharon Bowers

The Elementary STEM Instructional Leadership Program prepares educators by developing a practical and foundational understanding of STEM education content and practices enabling them to take STEM leadership roles.  While this program was initially designed for elementary or early childhood educators, the coursework can be modified to support secondary educators.  All work is job-embedded, building to the development and implementation of authentic, integrated inquiry- and design-based STEM learning experiences.

The program was developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Aerospace’s Center for Integrative STEM Education.
